Shoes from Zamberlan convince with high-quality traditional work directly from Italy! The passionate mountaineer Giuseppe Zamberlan laid the foundation for the company in 1929 when he opened his own shoemaker's shop at the foot of the Dolomites. He wanted to develop a shoe that would make it safer for mountaineers and alpinists to scale the mountains of the world - with a sure footing, comfort and the highest quality. A few years later, a special collaboration emerged with Zamberlan's good friend Vitale Bramani. He was also a mountaineer and had the same dream, but focused on a special part of the shoe: Bramani created the world-renowned Vibram® sole. Since then, Zamberlan has used Vibram® soles for its shoes, making it one of the first companies to use rubber soles for its mountaineering boots. The company is now in its third generation and a large part of the collection is still manufactured at the company's Pievebelvicino di Torrebelvicino site in Italy. Some employees have been working for Zamberlan for decades and pass on their knowledge to the next generation of craftsmen.
