Terracare® Leather
VAUDE uses German-made Terracare® leather for its products. The tannery has been awarded Gold status by the Leather Working Group, confirming compliance with high standards in environmental management and material processing. The leather offers a natural feel and a traceable origin.
SUPtraction Outsole
The Swiss company SUPtraction develops technical soles and specialized rubber compounds. For VAUDE, the company develops specific sole concepts that are precisely tailored to the requirements of each cycling shoe and its intended use, from the initial design to the finished product.
Dualflex Technology
When moving on the pedal, Dualflex soles offer high stiffness for efficient power transfer and support a stable foot position. When walking, the sole provides the necessary flexibility to support the foot's natural rolling motion. The sole remains stable under downward pressure (while pedaling) but flexes during the rolling motion (while walking). This makes the shoes ideal for switching between cycling and walking in everyday life.
V-Flow Index for VAUDE shoes
Sole requirements vary depending on the activity and terrain. Therefore, forefoot flex and torsional stiffness are crucial factors in determining the right sole construction. The V-Flow Index categorizes shoes based on upper material, fit, and stability, helping you quickly find the right shoe for your rides.
