When the three young Frenchmen Julien Durant, Jérémy Rochette and Vincent Andre founded the Picture Organic Clothing brand in 2008, it was one of the first manufacturers of sustainable functional clothing on the market. And their vision of offering an environmentally friendly, yet stylish alternative was a success: today, the self-proclaimed “action outdoor brand” is firmly established on the market for cool, fashionable sports and leisure clothing. Under the motto “Ride, Protect & Share”, Picture combines a style inspired by vibrant colors and colorful patterns with consistent sustainability - for example, organically grown and recycled materials and fabric remnants that would normally end up in the trash are used for clothing and accessories. The eco-balance of the production steps in their entirety, such as the amount of CO2 emissions, is also constantly monitored and adjusted.
