Founded in 1998 by the innovative mind of Pavel Hendrych, Ocun strives to perfect those items which keep you safe in the vertical- harnesses, crashpads, slings, and quickdraws. Ocun has grown to include many other products in their line, and their range of products continues to grow.  However they still seek to find the right balance of function, quality, innovation, and elegance in every product they make. 

Today Ocun and Rock Pillars have around one hundred devoted employees who develop and produce their products still in the Czech Republic, a country with a long tradition of shoemaking and textiles. Their innovative products are constantly tested by their team, including two of the world’s most experienced climbers- Tomas Mrazek and Salavat Rakhmetov.
