With shampoo, soap and co against plastic pollution
NICAMA, formerly Apinima, consists of a team of four young, creative minds who have set themselves the goal of countering the global plastic crisis and actively tackling the problem of plastic pollution on land and in the ocean. They want to achieve this by offering, among other things, plastic-free products such as solid shampoos and soaps, as well as ecological alternatives to plastic film, in the form of beeswax wipes.
Recycling project in South India
Together with Cleanhub, NICAMA supports the recycling project "Green Worms Waste Management" in South India. The aim is to intercept plastic waste before it reaches the most valuable ecosystem on earth - the sea. The project focuses primarily on the collection and recycling of plastic waste in coastal regions. With the help of a 1plus1 principle, NICAMA wants to create transparency and financially support the plastic crisis: For every NICAMA product purchased, 100 grams of plastic is collected before it reaches the sea.
