Merino wool
Merino wool is a unique moisture and temperature regulating material. In fabrics made from merino wool millions of tiny air pockets in the fabric lock in body heat. At the same time, your body is cooled or warmed through absorbing or wicking body moisture, depending on necessity. The thermal insulation also works when the fabric is moist. The natural antimicrobial properties of merino wool delay the onset of body odors.

Care
One advantage of wool is that dirt and odors stick on the fiber's surface instead of moving into the fiber's interior. Mostly it is sufficient to place the jacket at an airy place to let smells vanish over night. Washing is rarely necessary. Chemical cleaning is not recommended. For washing we recommend a gentle hand wash in cool to lukewarm water using only a little color-safe laundry detergent. In modern washing machines with wool or hand wash program you may achieve equal or even better results since the mechanical exposure on the fabric surface is the same everywhere. Please machine-wash Mufflon products only one at a time. Our advice: „less is more“. Wash your Mufflon rarely and individually at low temperature using only a little color-safe laundry detergent. After washing, spin and then reshape while your Mufflon is damp. Stretch out for drying. Drying in the sun, on the heater or in the dryer should be avoided.
