Recycled Down Filling
For selected products, Mountain Equipment uses recycled down certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). The down is sourced from collected clothing and bedding, separated from other materials, cleaned, sorted, and sterilized at 135°C. Subsequently, only high-quality down with excellent fill power is selected for reuse.
Drilite®
Drilite® is a lightweight membrane fabric featuring a monolithic polyurethane (PU) membrane. Depending on the intended use, the material is employed in either a 2.5-layer or 3-layer construction. The combination of a robust outer fabric and the functional membrane provides waterproof and windproof protection, while its breathable properties facilitate moisture transport away from the body.
