Drilite® Loft
Drilite® Loft is a lightweight membrane fabric featuring a microporous polyurethane coating and a hydrostatic head of 1,500 mm. This water-repellent and breathable material helps protect the down filling in jackets and sleeping bags from wind, snow, and moisture. This helps maintain insulation performance in cold, damp conditions and preserves the fill's loft for longer.
Down Codex®
Mountain Equipment is committed to a transparent and traceable supply chain for the down it uses. All new down and feathers are certified to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS). Additionally, the company's own Down Codex ensures the traceability of the down used. Each down product features a unique code that allows the origin and supply chain of the down to be traced, creating transparency in Mountain Equipment's down sourcing. Furthermore, every batch is tested by the independent institute IDFL for cleanliness, composition, and fill power using the IDFB method.
