MakakaOnTheRun is a young start-up company that was founded in Delitzsch near Leipzig in 2015. The founder and "Chief of doing" is Sebastian Herz, a graduate engineer in electrical engineering. He is a longtime sales professional of a world market leader for automation in North and Southeast Asia (China and Singapore), among other places, and for a long time he was annoyed by the various disadvantages of his conventional "thick" wallet: From bulging back pockets and even more unwanted dents in the front pockets to uselessly overfilled, unwieldy "bag design" ... it was enough for him! He developed the Slim Wallets, space-saving card cases, which took into account the development towards more and more cashless payment transactions and keyless access authorizations. Space-saving, handy and practical - the Wallets from MakakaOnTheRun hold plenty of cards, but still allow a small amount of space for coins, keys, SD card or similar.

Small wallets - with large benefits for everyone
Meanwhile the assortment includes a wide range of wallets in all possible colors and variations. From the Pull Tab to the Triple Slim Wallet to the carbon and precious wood card case, there is something for everyone. The rapidly increasing data theft, the reading and copying of credit card and ID data via radio, was also counteracted early on - RFID NFC blocker cards and protective sleeves are part of the range and thus complete it.

Social engagement included
In addition to the sustainability of the products and responsible production, Sebastian Herz has always placed great emphasis on social responsibility. For years, he has been raising money for children's aid organisations through fundraising and charity campaigns, and so the wallets sold also donate €1 each to needy children.
