Established as a family company in 1868 by farmer and cutler Carl Julius Herbertz in Solingen, Germany, and now run in the fifth generation Herbertz is known as THE knife specialist. Not only manufacturing their own knifes and tools but also gaining strategically important exclusive agency rights for other brands made them very successful.

Today the Herbertz company sells their own products along with knifes, swords, lights, and tools of well-known manufacturers thus offering a great range of products for the household, leisure, sports, and work.
