HEIMPLANET - inspired by the excitement of travel.
Travelling means being alive, enjoying with all senses and constantly getting to know new situations, new people, new cultures, new environments and oneself.
During a surf trip in 2003 along the Portuguese coast with constant setting up and taking down of the tent under adverse conditions - wind, rain, darkness - the idea for a new tent concept was born. That was the beginning of the Heimplanet journey.
In 2011, the time had come and the first inflatable tent, The Cave, was launched. Since then, numerous purpose-built products have been developed, combining the best technical features with clean, simple design, extremely versatile and suitable for every day and every trip.
The word Heimat [ˈhaimaːt], which only exists in German, is an emotive expression of close attachment to a place where one feels at home. The makers of Heimplanet liked the idea of taking this feeling with them as they travel this planet.
