Gonso
From underwear to bicycle clothing

Founded in 1926 on the Swabian Alb by Johannes Gonser, the company initially produced stockings, lingerie and tracksuits. Gonso received a lot of approval for the production of tracksuits and so the company developed into the first supplier of cycling shorts with seat padding and general cycling clothing at the beginning of the 1980s. The background of the product change was the cycling passion of Hans Gonser, the grandson of the company founder. He completed training sessions on the trimming bike and suffered injuries that made cycling almost impossible. So the developers of the sewing shop were supposed to sew a seat pad into his cycling trousers - already known to professional cyclists, but not to leisure cyclists. Hans Gonser changed that!

Cycling clothing for connoisseurs

Gonso has made it its business to produce cycling clothing that provides the greatest possible enjoyment when cycling. The company has specialised in cycling shorts, because they contribute to the feeling of well-being on the bike and should not rub or pinch. The fit and function of the trousers should also be optimally tailored to the various needs. Thus Gonso offers almost 40 different men's and women's sizes and some products in short and long sizes. But also shirts, rainwear and functional underwear are part of Gonso's range and are geared to the different needs of the target groups from bike commuters to racing cyclists.
