SlingFin

SlingFin has had one goal since 2010: to design outdoor gear that is innovative, durable and affordable. Company founder Martin Zemitis learned early on in the outdoor industry that this is not as simple as it sounds. For three decades he worked for The North Face, Sierra Designs and as a co-founder of Mountain Hardwear.

The balance between durability and weight
In 2009, the desire for more design freedom without the constraints of price targets then gripped him and he decided it was time to go his own way. He started the tent and tarp manufacturer SlingFin. The manufacturer's main focus is on maximum durability with minimum weight. Even if this makes the price more expensive, SlingFin is convinced that a good tent is a long-term investment and will serve as a faithful companion for many years.

There are no »nitpickers« here
At the outdoor outfitter, there are no suits or a drive to maximize profits. Instead, the company designs and produces gear that impresses with its lightness, attention to detail and quality of workmanship. "We're small, lean and gruff, and we like it that way," says SlingFin.
