Ghislain Pipers searched in vain for the ideal product - so what could be more obvious than to create "his dream tent" himself!
This is how Samaya® was born and one prototype followed the next. The basis was the involvement of research and development to further develop structures and membrane fabrics.
The young company gets its edge in innovation and research through cooperation with institutions such as CEA, product partners such as Dyneema®, DAC, YKK®, but also universities and doctoral students.
Not only in the laboratory, but also in practice all over the world, testing and further development, adaptation and refinement are carried out. This is how Samaya® creates products that meet their high requirements in terms of weight, technical sophistication, comfort and durability, and are perfectly adapted to the specific needs of the respective activities.
Samaya® sees these products as "rooms with a view" that bridge the gap between city life and nature and continue the tradition of bivouac as the DNA of humanity.
