egos slippers are designed in Denmark and manufactured in Nepal and are 100% handmade. The raw wool used in egos slippers derives from New Zealand sheep. The raw wool is dyed with eco-friendly dyes. The wool is then carded, and the actual work of making the shoe can begin. Right from the start it was important that all the work should be carried out under fair and orderly conditions, and that the workers should be paid a decent wage for their work. It was therefore a source of great pride to the company when it was certified by the World Fair Trade Organization.
