These are the guiding principles of the two founders of Doghammer - Maximilian and Matthias. The idea of the outdoor-suitable and sustainable sandal was born in 2015 and took a long time to develop a wearable flip flop. These are handmade by a workshop for disabled people in Rosenheim. In addition to sandals, shoes are now also part of Doghammer's range. These are manufactured in a family-run shoe factory in Portugal.
Living the vision
With the principles of fair production, short transport routes, the use of recycled and natural materials and a great deal of closeness to nature and team spirit - the Doghammer founders turned their vision into reality. And you too can play your part: Cork collect is the keyword - used corks are collected and processed into cork granulate, which is partly used to make the upper material of shoes. This is because the shoes are made of partially recycled cork and of cork grown in Portugal, which is further processed in the local manufacture by short transport routes.
