Asolo

Asolo was founded in 1975 by Giancarlo Tanzi. In the same year, Asolo launched the "Scout", the first mountain boot made of a combination of leather and textile material (Cordura). This was followed by the first mountain boot lined with Gore-Tex and the first boot for professional alpinists. In 1998, the Italian shoemaking family Zanatta acquired the brand Asolo and today it is still family-owned: with Ludovica Zanatta, the fourth generation of the Zanatta family represents the brand. A large part of the production takes place in the company's own production facilities in Romania and Italy. This allows monitoring and control of all stages of production and thus ensures high quality. Solid craftsmanship is applied in every step of production: each product is handmade and so quality, tradition and innovation merge in the high-quality outdoor shoes of the Italian brand. All shoes are resoleable due to the cemented construction method.
