"Dope-dyed" dyeing
The dyeing of the fibers takes place directly during the spinning process. This makes the "dope-dyed" dyeing process more environmentally friendly than conventional dyeing processes, because it saves water, energy and emissions. In addition, the complete fiber can be dyed through, so that a very high color fastness is achieved.

Gore® C-Knit™ Backer Technology
The Gore® C-Knit™ Backer Technology combines the robustness of a 3-layer with a soft, textile touch - for a great wearing comfort. The soft, breathable and lightweight Gore® C-Knit™ backer is the layer on the inside of the 3-layer membrane sandwich. The knit backing is smooth and silky slick. It slides easily over other layers. This lining is lighter, softer and even more breathable than comparable laminates but it is just as robust. Also it offers a great moisture management.

Recco® System
Recco® reflectors are useful safety features for winter and mountain sports enthusiasts and can save lives in the event of an accident. The small transmitters are discreetly integrated into special clothing, helmets or equipment and help to find buried people more quickly in an emergency. In the event of an avalanche, the Recco® detector sends out a search signal to the mountain rescue team using highly developed radar technology. This is reflected back by the winter sports enthusiasts' Recco® reflectors. This allows the mountain rescue team to locate the buried person under the snow more quickly. Recco® reflectors send out a consistently strong signal and have an unlimited lifespan. They do not need to be switched on or off and do not require a battery. This ensures that the reflectors are always ready and can be located at any time if necessary. More than 800 winter sports areas and rescue teams worldwide now use the Recco® rescue system.
