Individual outdoor fashion – sustainable, eco-friendly and in accordance with animal welfare
Alvivo is part of the German company Alpex and was founded in 2015 by native-born Italian Giacomo Casale. The company manufactures jackets and shoes, but also sleeping bags made of synthetic fibers and down, as well as inlets. The company puts considerable emphasis on the sustainable use of resources and eco-friendly production in accordance with animal welfare: RDS-certified down guarantee continuous monitoring (via Textil Exchange) of the entire supply chain of the down production and insures an animal friendly breeding, keeping and slaughter of the animals. RDS-certified down will never come from animals who have been subjected to painful practices, live plucking or force-feeding (foie gras production) and additionally the RDS guarantees the traceability of each finished product down to the parent farm. Alvivo products are designed for outdoor enthusiasts who go in for an individual style and a modern look.
