The idea for the solid natural cosmetics by 4 people who care is strongly linked to the professional background of founder Benno. He says that as a climbing instructor, route builder and sports masseur, he was always looking for high-quality care for his stressed hands, but could not find a suitable sustainable product. Together with his brother Fritz and his friends Lennart and Marc, he took on the matter himself and developed the first sustainable and solid hand cream "Daumenschmaus". Meanwhile, the four have been able to expand their climate-neutral product family and offer various natural cosmetic products with plastic-free packaging for refilling.

Good for the skin and the environment
With every product sold, 4 people who care support their biodiversity cooperations and new flowering meadows are planted in Germany and Austria. The cooperation partners are the Ayinger Kräutergarten near Munich, the Gut Wulfsdorf near Hamburg, the Hof Nagel in Hessen, the Hof Becker near Cologne, the Blühwiesen at the Burgwallhof near Berlin and the Biohof Scheiring in Tyrol. The resulting flowering meadows not only provide a habitat and food base for many insects, they also serve as a fast-growing and effective CO₂ reservoir.
