Polartec® Classic
Polartec® Classic products offer warmth without the weight and feature a durable material construction. The material’s functional properties include breathability, quick drying, and easy care. Polartec® Classic 100 fabrics are among the lighter options and are suitable as a warm layer or lightweight sweater for various outdoor activities such as cycling, trail running, or backpacking. Polartec® Classic 300 fabrics offer greater material thickness and are used as a warm layer in cooler conditions. Polartec® Classic 200 fabrics fall between these two variants and offer versatile application possibilities.
Zip-in – Zippers
Vaude jackets featuring the zip-in option can be quickly and easily connected using compatible zippers. This allows you, for example, to combine a fleece or insulated jacket with a weather-protection jacket. You can flexibly decide how to wear the individual layers depending on the weather, temperature, and your personal needs.

PET Recycling
Recycled polyester is produced from existing plastic materials. During the manufacturing process, collected and cleaned bottles are shredded, melted down, and spun into new, fine textile fibers.

Green Shape® – Environmental standard for outdoor products
The Green Shape® standard evaluates outdoor textile products holistically across their entire lifecycle—from material selection and manufacturing to repairability and recyclability. The products meet defined requirements regarding materials, manufacturing processes, and environmental criteria. These include, among other things, the use of recycled or renewable materials, material efficiency, supply chain requirements, and responsible resource management. Green Shape® was originally developed by VAUDE and, as of 2025, is being further developed as an independent standard by the independent association "Green Shape Verein zur Förderung umweltfreundlicher Bekleidung und textiler Produkte e.V."
