bluesign® Product
bluesign® is an independent standard for environmental, resource, and consumer protection in textile manufacturing. The system operates at the very beginning of the production chain, evaluating materials, chemicals, processes, and resources throughout the entire manufacturing process.
The bluesign® system assesses substances that may be harmful to the environment or human health based on strict criteria and aims to eliminate them wherever possible. Simultaneously, production processes are audited to ensure the responsible use of resources—such as water and energy—and safe chemical management.
Companies and suppliers operating according to the bluesign® standard must meet specific requirements and undergo regular audits. In this way, bluesign® helps make textile production more transparent and resource-efficient.

Polartec® Classic
Polartec® Classic products offer warmth without the weight and feature a durable material construction. Functional properties of the material include breathability, quick-drying capabilities, and easy care. Polartec® Classic 100 fabrics are among the lighter options and serve well as an insulating layer or a lightweight sweater for various outdoor activities such as cycling, trail running, or backpacking. Polartec® Classic 300 fabrics are thicker and are used as an insulating layer in cooler conditions. Polartec® Classic 200 fabrics fall between these two options, offering versatility in their application.

About Fair Trade Certified™
Fair Trade Certified™ is a certification program administered by Fair Trade USA covering various stages of the supply chain. Different standards apply depending on the production sector, each with specific social, economic, and environmental requirements. For textile and apparel manufacturing facilities, the Fair Trade USA Factory Production Standard (FPS) applies. This standard includes requirements regarding working conditions, worker rights, occupational health and safety, equal treatment, working hours, and environmental management. Another key component of the program is the Fair Trade Premium. Certified facilities receive additional funds that are allocated to a dedicated fund; employee representatives decide how these funds are used to support projects aimed at improving living conditions within the workers' communities. Compliance with the relevant standards is verified through regular audits conducted by independent bodies.
