Polartec® Classic
Polartec® Classic products offer lightweight warmth and feature a durable material construction. Functional properties include breathability, quick-drying capabilities, and easy care. Polartec® Classic 100 fabrics are among the lighter options, suitable as a warm layer or lightweight sweater for various outdoor activities such as cycling, trail running, or backpacking. Polartec® Classic 300 fabrics offer greater thickness and serve as a warm layer in cooler conditions. Polartec® Classic 200 fabrics fall between these two, offering versatile application options.

About Fair Trade Certified™
Fair Trade Certified™ is a certification program from Fair Trade USA covering various stages of the supply chain. Different standards apply depending on the production sector, with specific social, economic, and environmental requirements. The Fair Trade USA Factory Production Standard (FPS) applies to textile and apparel manufacturing facilities. This standard includes requirements regarding working conditions, worker rights, occupational health and safety, equal treatment, working hours, and environmental management. Another component of the program is the Fair Trade Premium. Additional funds are provided for certified production facilities. These funds go into a pool managed by employee representatives and are used to support projects that improve living conditions in the workers' communities. Compliance with the relevant standards is verified through regular audits conducted by independent bodies.

bluesign® Product
bluesign® is an independent standard for environmental, resource, and consumer protection in textile manufacturing. The system intervenes at the very beginning of the production chain, examining materials, chemicals, processes, and resources throughout the entire manufacturing process.
The bluesign® system evaluates substances that pose risks to the environment or human health based on strict criteria and aims to eliminate them wherever possible. At the same time, production processes are assessed for responsible resource use—such as water and energy—and for safe chemical management.
Companies and suppliers operating according to the bluesign® standard meet established requirements and undergo regular inspections. In this way, bluesign® helps make textile production more transparent and resource-efficient.
