Description

Patagonia’s Men’s Torrentshell 3L Jacket truly thrives in wind and wet weather: thanks to its 3-layer polyamide fabric with a DWR finish—and its certification to Patagonia’s H2No® Performance Standard—this rain jacket is reliably windproof and waterproof. This means you can head out in bad weather without worrying about getting soaked. To keep out chilly breezes, the jacket features an adjustable drawcord hem, Velcro cuffs, and an adjustable hood. If you start to overheat during a strenuous hike, simply open the handy underarm zippers to allow for pleasant air circulation inside the jacket.

bluesign® Product
bluesign® is an independent standard for environmental, resource, and consumer protection in textile manufacturing. The system intervenes at the very beginning of the production chain, evaluating materials, chemicals, processes, and resources throughout the entire manufacturing process.
The bluesign® system assesses substances that may be harmful to the environment or human health based on strict criteria and aims to eliminate them wherever possible. Simultaneously, production processes are audited to ensure responsible use of resources—such as water and energy—and safe chemical management.
Companies and suppliers operating according to the bluesign® standard must meet specific requirements and undergo regular audits. In this way, bluesign® helps make textile production more transparent and resource-efficient.

H2No® Performance Standard
H2No® Performance Standard is Patagonia’s proprietary standard for waterproof and breathable technical apparel. Depending on the product, various membranes, coatings, and material constructions are used. Under this standard, materials and finished products are tested for attributes such as waterproofness, breathability, water repellency, and durability. Part of the testing process is the so-called "Killer Wash," in which materials are subjected to repeated mechanical stress and subsequently re-tested for waterproofness. Thus, H2No® does not denote a specific membrane, but rather a material and product construction that meets Patagonia’s Performance Standard requirements.

About Fair Trade Certified™
Fair Trade Certified™ is a certification program from Fair Trade USA covering various segments of the supply chain. Different standards apply depending on the production sector, each with specific social, economic, and environmental requirements. For textile and apparel manufacturing facilities, the Fair Trade USA Factory Production Standard (FPS) applies. This standard covers requirements regarding working conditions, worker rights, occupational health and safety, equal treatment, working hours, and environmental management, among other things. Another component of the program is the Fair Trade Premium. Additional funds are provided to certified production facilities; these go into a fund managed by worker representatives and are used to support projects that improve living conditions in the workers' communities. Compliance with the respective standards is verified through regular audits conducted by independent bodies.

Die Jacke ist sehr schön, fällt nur klein aus. Ich würde sie nächstes Mal eine Nummer größer bestellen, da sie auch recht kurz ist . Und wasserdicht ist sie bislang auch. Bestellung hat wunderbar geklappt.
