Gore-Tex®
Gore-Tex® fabrics combine waterproof, windproof, and breathable properties. The membrane features fine micropores that are smaller than a water droplet but larger than a water vapor molecule. This prevents rainwater from penetrating while allowing water vapor generated inside to escape. The membrane thus helps maintain a dry feel and a comfortable internal climate during various outdoor activities.

Gore-Tex® membrane made of ePE (expanded polyethylene)
The Gore-Tex® membrane made of expanded polyethylene (ePE) is characterized by a thin, lightweight, and durable structure. Combined with a DWR finish, the ePE membrane provides waterproof, windproof, and breathable properties for use in outdoor clothing. The membrane is primarily used in 2-layer and 3-layer constructions.
