WrightSock

Wrightsock

Wrightsock is the brand of Wrightenberry Mills in Burlington, North Carolina. Founded in 1948 by Alline Wrightenberry and Ellis Bill, they initially wholesaled overstock socks from sock manufacturers, but over the years began to produce more and more themselves. At the end of the 1980s, the double-layered socks typical of Wrightsock were developed - an important milestone and still largely responsible for the success of the brand to this day. The 2-layer construction absorbs friction and thereby reduces heat and resulting moisture on the feet. This interaction minimizes the risk of blisters forming and your feet stay dry and don't overheat.
