Trangia

In 1925, John E. Jonsson and his father-in-law founded their company in Sweden under the name Trangia AB with the aim of manufacturing storm-resistant cooking equipment. The outdoor alcohol stove of the same name, which has been manufactured since 1950, made the company well-known and one of the leading stove manufacturers on the market. Even more than 60 years later, their storm cooker is still a mega seller in the outdoor industry. It was often copied - but never duplicated: The practical Trangia system is as simple as it is functional. It consists of a windbreak, two pots, a pan (which also serves as a lid), a burner and a pair of tongs. All of this can be stowed away inside one another to save space, making it easy to travel with you in your backpack. This makes the Storm Cooker especially popular with hikers around the world.
