Description
This sweater is called Kesang, after the Tibetan word meaning "honest" and "truthful". Watching the women of Kirtipur create these sweaters over eight days, it is easy to appreciate the artistic craftsmanship of these amazing knitters. In a world of mass-produced goods, this sweater is a simple reminder that the old ways are alive and well. And that is the honest truth.Fully lined in fleece adds versatility to this sweater and an interior zippered chest pocket secures essentials. The cable knit is exclusive to Sherpa - note the pearl-stitch trim at cuffs and hem. The front zipper pull and drawcord are designs inspired by the Himalayan aesthetic.
These sweaters are hand-knitted uniques so the picture might be slightly different to the original!
