The technical softshell material mix made of Naturetec Light material with the fine merino wool on the inside and abrasion-resistant Merino Naturetec Rips inserts offers the characteristics that a mountain pant needs for the highest demands: high breathability, resistance and comfort. In addition, the trousers are wind- and water-repellent due to DWR treatment. The Quick Gaiter System, a hem adjustment system developed by Ortovox that even replaces gaiters, certainly stands out as a highlight. In addition to other functional features such as the side ventilation zippers, the Westalpen Softshell Pants W also has a lot to offer in terms of wearing comfort, such as the merinoprene insert at the rear waistband and the articulated and reinforced knees.

Instead of gaiter! The Quick-Gaiter System is a hem adjustment system developed by Ortovox that can be easily and quickly adjusted in three steps and ends seamlessly on the mountain boot. The fastening loops run under the mountain boot and are made of abrasion-resistant Dyneema material. When not in use, they can be stowed safely and cleanly.
