DescriptionWith the Swisswool Light Piz Bial Jacket Women by Ortovox you don't just get one jacket for your outdoor adventure - no, you get two. You have two styles to choose because it's a reversible jacket!
Filled with insulating Swisswool
No matter how you twist or turn this jacket, it warms you reliably with its Swisswool filling. The high-quality Swiss sheep's wool provides a pleasant feel-good climate, because the natural product absorbs moisture vapour before it turns into sweat. The processed wool warms even when it is wet, so you can rely on your new insulation jacket all around!
Warm inside, protected outside
Also the outer material has a high quality: it is water-repellent, windproof, hard-wearing and highly breathable. On top of that, you can compress the wool-filled reversible jacket and thanks to its low weight and small pack size you can easily stow it away in your luggage. This winter jacket will inspire you right down the line, especially when you're doing movement-intensive mountain sports!

Swisswool is not only a product that looks extremely good and keeps you warm - it is particularly unique as it is in harmony with nature. The lining is made of Swiss virgin wool. The wool manufacturer, the company Swisswool, provides the shepherds in many remote Alpine valleys in Switzerland the possibility to deliver their wool to the Swisswool collection points. This happens especially in early summer. The sheep kept on some very remote pastures get their summer shearing there. The shepherds transport the freshly sheared wool to the collection points. Here it is weighed and paid for fairly. Swisswool processes the raw wool further in Switzerland. In the finishing, the wool is quilted into many small insulation chambers. As wool is a very voluminous fiber, it forms a lot of air pockets, which provide excellent insulation and make the products highly compressible.
Pertex® Quantum uses Ortovox as outer material for all Swisswool Light and Swisswool Light Tec products. A particularly tight weave construction creates an extremely windproof and abrasion-resistant fabric. In addition, the material remains light and soft.
