Softshell jacket with very high breathability

Marmot's Zion Jacket introduces Polartec® NeoShell®, the highly breathable softshell technology that provides the protection of a hard shell with the breathability and mobility of a softshell. The stretch material guarantees active comfort and the Angel-Wing Movement™ technology offers perfect freedom of movement because it prevents the jacket to ride up. The attached storm hood is adjustable and offers good protection from the elements. The asymmetric cuffs are equipped with Velcro® adjustments so that cool breezes will have no access.

Polartec® NeoShell® delivers the best of both worlds, waterproofness and breathability. Its exclusive membrane allows air to pull moisture vapor out – even at extremely low levels of pressure. So it helps keep you drier during high-exertion activities. Enabling a constant 2-way exchange of air, the membrane dramatically accelerates moisture vapor transfer. The waterproof membrane is more effective in moisture vapor transport because it uses convection.
