The Hilo Reef is a comfortably family tent for 5 people in a 3+2 bedroom formation. Relaxation in Topaz, the Outwell Hilo Reef is a three-room tunnel tent features two bedrooms and a spacious living area. The inner leads out into the living area which features a side entrance door with overhead rain canopy, multiple large windows each with curtains and a large front panel doorway. Campers benefit from the special atmosphere generated by Outwell’s very own Outtex® Airtech polycotton. While polycotton tents are famous for their exceptional breathability making the tent stay cool even in hot weather, additional mesh vents are situated over each of the main windows to provide additional air circulation. The touch of innovation is also underlined in this tent with the front canopy eyebrow giving plenty of protection when the weather takes a turn for the worse. Underfoot, the Hilo Reef tent has a full Zip-out Groundsheet in complementary Apricot and the feeling of spaciousness is enhanced by the large windows, additional side door and a front wall that features a mesh/window combination can be opened completely, or halfway, or less. A compact style that nevertheless offers great space for up to five.

Outtex® Airtech
Airtech is a Polycotton fabric with a water repellent coating on the outside which allows water droplets to form and run off the tent then, as the rain gets heavier the fabric closes up and seals itself to become totally waterproof. Airtech also has a strong resistance to UV decay and, if carefully looked after, will last for many years.
