The Bear Lake 6 is a comfortable 6-berth family tent that offers a spacious living area and full standing height in the universal 2 + 4 inner tents. The flysheet of the Bear Lake 6 is Outwell's own Outtex® Airtech Polycotton a rich blend of 65% cotton and 35% polyester that provides a luxurious feel to the tent as well as providing practical advantages such as a cooler internal climate and enhanced breathability. While polycotton is also significantly heavier than polyester, the increased weight has been offset by the use of 22mm aluminium alloy poles throughout steel as in most other tunnel tents of this size. The side doors also feature vent-view windows and there are 4 further windows to ensure the tent lets in plenty of light. The tent is finished off with a zip-off front sun canopy that provides extra protection to the doorway entrance. The Bear Lake 6 features a zip-in/out heavy duty PVC groundsheet throughout and breathable polyester inner tent(s). Outtex® Airtech
Airtech is a Polycotton fabric with a water repellent coating on the outside which allows water droplets to form and run off the tent then, as the rain gets heavier the fabric closes up and seals itself to become totally waterproof. Airtech also has a strong resistance to UV decay and, if carefully looked after, will last for many years.
