• It is quite stiff mostly thanks to its oval shaped aluminum shaft. The polycarbonate blade is also very strong but keeps the weight down. The aluminum telescopic oval shaft makes for great handling and sanded coating provides slip-free grip. The polycarbonate blade is very durable and will not break even in extreme conditions, however, plastic blades tend to have harder time cutting through crusts because of the material’s flex. The Orange II shovel handle is a T-grip style and works nicely with the sanded coating on the shaft.
