  Jack Wolfskin has also expanded its range of softshells for kids and youngsters with the addition of the Kids Frozen Peak Shell. With its fully adjustable hood and additional insulation at temperature-sensitive zones, this is a jacket for full-on winter use. The main material used is the windproof and highly breathable Stormlock Softshell Highloft. It has kinetic stretch and water-repellent characteristics and a highloft fleece reverse side for excellent heat retention. Robust layer ply laminate Stormlock Hyproof Oxford 2-Layer is used to reinforce the shoulders, waist area and sleeves.

  Stormlock Softshell Highloft
  An exceptionally warm soft shell 3-ply laminate, designed for winter outdoor activities. A warm, high-loft polyester fleece on the contact side provides very good insulation. The shell fabric consists of a tough, bi-stretch nylon fabric for freedom of movement and durability. A windproof, high breathability, water repellent membrane in the middle provides the weatherproof, adaptive climate performance. The high-loft fleece renders the fabric relatively light and compressible.
  
  Stormlock Hyproof Oxford 2-Lagen
  High durability is the key feature of this 2-layer laminate. It is also completely windproof, water repellent and breathable. The Oxford weave makes the material particularly robust.
