The kids Alpine Trail is also fits close to the body to allow young explorers full freedom of movement and excellent ventilation during scrambling, climbing or other strenuous activities. A central ventilation channel, perforated padding and AIRMESH lining facilitate the continuous lateral expulsion of warm air. Also includes a full list of mountaineering-specific features, such as alpine distress signals and accident procedure information on the inside of the lid.

Cross Rip 100D
This extremely lightweight and technical polyamide fabric contains a matrix of thicker ripstop threads for improved tensile strength and higher tear strength.

Nailhead 420D
Light, extremely durable nylon, used in Jack Wolfskin's rucksacks. When viewed in cross-section, it has prominent projections resembling nail heads. In the event of abrasion, the nail heads protect the material underneath. Nailhead is used in different strengths (Denier) on the pack and base sections of a rucksack, depending on what a rucksack is to be used for.
