The Vortex Jacket is tailored from Stormlock Hyproof Smoothlight 2-Layers, a smooth, supple, functional fabric, which is not only windproof but extremely water repellent and breathable too. Water ingress is possible through the seams in prolonged rain but although the Vortex can not be classified as totally waterproof garment, but it is ideal for windy conditions or any UK outdoor clothing needs and can easily cope with light rain. The jacket has a soft texture, a fresh, youthful design and a sporty, cropped cut.

The silky-soft Smoothlight face fabric is the killer app of this extremely water repellent, totally windproof and breathable variation on the Stormlock Hyproof theme. The material is “non rustle” and the soft feel provides superb wear comfort.

Mesh Lining
A highly breathable polyamide fabric with a mesh structure. Used mainly as a lining material in Jack Wolfskin's weather protection jackets. Perspiration passes easily through the mesh and is wicked away from the body through the weather protection layer.
