Hilleberg Tarp UL 10

A wonderfully designed tarp with usability in mind and completely waterproof

A tarp provides the perfect shelter if you want to stay dry but still want to enjoy all scents and views that Mother Nature has to offer. The Hilleberg Tarp 10 UL is an ultralight tarp that can be used as rain cover, wind protection, emergency blanket. The Tarp 10 is available in a super light UL material. It is a tremendously strong yet lightweight, silicone-coated fabric. The attachment rings have long guy lines with line runners on them. In addition, the stuff bag is cleverly integrated into the Tarp itself, both saving weight and allowing quicker deployment and repacking.

Kerlon 1200
The outer tent’s fabric is crucial to keeping the elements out. Perhaps the most obvious, specific difference lies in the tear strengths of the outer tents. Kerlon 1200 has a minimum tear strength of 12 kg/26.5 lbs. And it has a high UV resistance. The abrasion resistance is high as well. Many of the tent fabrics on the market – including those labeled “expedition grade” – have tear strengths of 2 kg/4.4 lbs to 3 kg/6.6 lbs. Thus, Kerlon 1200 is four to six times stronger than most other tent materials and amazingly light in weight 50g/m².
