Terracare zero leather
We are processing certified carbon neutral Terracareleather in more than twenty models. For the production of Terracare, German tannery Heinen follows strict rules: 1st: The company countervails all the carbon that is created for the tanning of the leather for our shoe production. 2nd: Water consumption is reduced little by litte and is restrained to a minimum. 3rd: Essential for tanning even for Terracare leather is the application of chemicals. Heinen sets high standards while working with chemicals and tries to use them in exceedingly modest terms.

Deep-Pull-Lacing
Special clamps on the side effectively hold the foot in place and ensure ideal ankle support. It helps preventing twisted ankles or blisters (better heel fit).

Shock Absorb
Additional shock absorption under heel. Footwear with stiff, hence hard, soles in particular require this great cushioning.

Strap-On Crampon
Crampon compatible sole construction, suitable for strap-on crampons (without front bracket) ideal for all general mountaineering activities: easy climbs, ice climbing and glacier travels.
