Polyester 75D (4000mm)
This versatile synthetic fibre absorbs only 0.5% of its own weight in moisture and thus holds its shape well, even when wet. Also highly UV-resistant, it is durable and is easily coated or laminated. It is thus eminently suitable for use as a base material for functional jackets.

Hydrofilm Polyester 210D (10000mm)
The groundsheet material of Jack Wolfskin’s tents consists of a special lightweight polyester material with a high tearstrength and a durably waterproof coating. The coating has a water column specification of 10,000mm. The figures apply to the coating when new.
