2-part modular mitten for expeditions

The Mountain Equipment Fitzroy Mitt is a 2-part modular mitten designed for those that are operating in harsh cold environments. They are ideal for mountaineering up to 6000m or lower level expeditions in the Polar regions. The Drilite Loft outer fabric will ensure your hands stay dry and keep those cold biting winds out, while the Pittards Goatskin palm will help maintain a good grip. Under the outer fabric is a good layer of Primaloft One insulation keeping your hands warm. Primaloft has an aquaphobic treatment applied to it that makes sure it keeps working even when wet.

The removable softshell inner mitt also has a leather palm so the outer can be taken off if it gets to warm and you can keep a grip on things. The inner glove has a fibre pile lining this maintains insulation and comfort.
