1913 Josef Eschenbach establishes the company named after himself with the objective of setting up a wholesale business for optical articles and technical drawing instruments. The Eschenbach company grows steadily. The first sales documents and catalogues are printed in 1918. Even in difficult economic times, such as 1929 to 1933, the company succeeds in growing. With the Trophy or the Farlux series Eschenbach offers high-quality binoculars especially suited for nature and animal observation. The spy glasses are equipped with an outstanding optical performance and excellent workmanship.
