Vaude have modified their kids Dreamer sleeping bag range this year. Instead of offering different sizes of bags they now just have the Dreamer Adjust, which as the names suggested is adjustable in length. Inside the bag there are internal sleeves where the bottom of the bag can be tucked in and secured to shorten the length. So now you can get more years of use out of this top quality kids bag without compromising on the fit.

Insulation range of kid's and youth's sleeping bags
In general we do not specify the insulation range for children's and youth's sleeping bags. According to our experience, you can place most of the sleeping bags in insulation ranges of up to + 10°C. Also, kids should be dressed according to the outer temperatures. Kids need a sleeping bag designed especially for their size. A bad first experience may ruin a kid's desire to camp. Kid's sleeping bags are designed in small sizes and have a body-fitting cut so they'll stay warmer, but they are still comfortabe despite the close-fitting cut. Features that help the kid's sleeping bags meet the needs of the child are zipper tracks that operate snag free, chest pockets for favorite items, and fun items like glowing zipper pulls. Adult sleeping bags are not good substitutes for the special kid's sleeping bag. Kid's sleeping bags have many of the features of an adult bag but at a kid-friendly price. Most kid's sleeping bags are designed for children up to 5 feet tall.
