This ACS system rucksack hybrid represents the successful fusion of bike pack and hiking daypack. The ACS system delivers outstanding ventilation for both of these activities. The teardrop pack geometry is specifically designed for dual use, and features include attachments for a helmet and cycle lamp, an integral rain cover and a pouch and tube duct for an on-board hydration system. High-vis reflective detailing improves visibility in road traffic situations and poor light.

Suspension System ACS
The ACS Tight system (ACS = Air Comfort System) is featured on rucksacks designed for high octane activities. It ensures that the rucksack remains close to the body while allowing excellent freedom of movement. The materials used are moisture and air permeable.A vertical channel allows warm, moist air produced by the body to escape upwards and keeps contact surfaces to a minimum. Two flexible aluminium ribs help the pack retain its shape and flexible plates located beneath the back pad prevent hard items pressing through.

Cross Rip 300D
A very light polyamide fabric with a high tearstrength rating. Used for Trekking and Hiking rucksacks. The light-weight nylon fabric is inter-woven with ripstop reinforcement threads every few millimetres. If the fabric tears, the rip is stopped by the stronger threads, hence the name: ripstop. This type of construction saves weight and is very robust. Jack Wolfskin use different strengths (Denier) of Cross Rip, depending on what a rucksack is used for

Nailhead 420D
Light, extremely durable nylon, used in Jack Wolfskin's rucksacks. When viewed in cross-section, it has prominent projections resembling nail heads. In the event of abrasion, the nail heads protect the material underneath. Nailhead is used in different strengths (Denier) on the pack and base sections of a rucksack, depending on what a rucksack is to be used for.
