The material has intrinsic temperature regulating characteristics, which create a noticeable improvement in climate controlled wearer comfort. Special silver and protein particles integrated into the coating store the heat generated by the body. When the temperature falls, a delayed heat release process occurs. The very lightweight, detachable inner garment gives the user even more flexibility and the use of our MICROGUARD microfibre fill delivers outstanding warmth-to-weight performance. The shell jacket is fully featured and designed specifically for trekking use, and is tailored from a lightweight RIPSTOP fabric, combined with robust TEXAPORE TASLAN at the critical wear points of shoulder, waist and sleeves. The CRYSTAL ROCK also features venting pit zips, high-set pockets that can be accessed with the rucksack waist belt fastened and a detachable, fully adjustable hood with a stiffened visor.

Main Material: TEXAPORE SILVER MINIRIP 2L
This waterproof and breathable functional material contains metallic and protein particles integrated into the PU coating that store the heat energy produced by the body; when the temperature drops, a delayed heat release process occurs. This buffering effect works equally well in both cold and warm conditions and creates a more balanced internal microclimate within the garment. The temperature-control function works independently of the breathability and waterproofing performance of the material. TEXAPORE SILVER MINRIP 2L utilizes a lightweight nylon ripstop face fabric and has an MVTR of 9.000g/m²/24h.
Inner Jacket: MICROGUARD
MICROGUARD is a dual layer artificial fibre fill with fine MICRO fibres inside to trap air and provide optimal insulation. An outer layer of thermally bonded mixed fibres provides a good loft and durability.The fine micro fibres are bonded across the inner fabric, while the compact mixed fibres are only attached on one side to the shell material and lie on top of the micro fibres. This construction virtually eliminates heat loss through seams.
Inner Jacket: FULL DULL MINI RIPSTOP
A very light nylon fabric (64g/m2) with a matt finish, made from 40 denier yarn. The mini ripstop structure and the dense weave render the fabric extremely robust. The fabric is also highly breathable, windproof and water repellent. FULL DULL MINI RIPSTOP is used as a backing material for TEXAPORE laminates and as a face fabric in JACK WOLFSKIN's weatherproof jackets.
Inner Jacket: NYLON TAFFETA, fibreproof
A particularly tightly woven nylon taffeta fabric, used as a lining material in quilted garments.
Inner Jacket: Logolining, fibreproof
A premuim quality soft polyester lining material that prevents down and fibre loss and features a discreet all-over pawprint logo. Used in our down and synthetic fibre fill jackets.
Lining: MESH LINING
High breathability 100% polyamide fabric with a mesh structure.
